Set amidst acres of Surrey parkland, De Vere Horsley Estate has history and heritage at every turn. Designed and built in 1820 by Sir Charles Barry; the architect of the Houses of Parliament, the house was later the seat of the Lovelace family who enhanced it with the bold architectural features that can still be seen throughout.
Today, the addition of a contemporary management centre, Horsley Place and the renovation of the estates’ original stables has created modern spaces, including some of our bedrooms, that effortlessly combine with the 19th-century charm of the mansion. From a business meeting to an elegant wedding day, this unique backdrop sets the tone for a memorable event.

What a gem of a hotel - I stayed in a newly refurbished ground floor double room, spotlessly clean, very quiet, lovely looking out over the grounds at the front. With the weather being so warm it was perfect for a stroll through the very well kept grounds with the towers on the lake. Check in staff very helpful and was a smooth process. Housekeeping staff too were very friendly. I didn’t have dinner there - but had breakfast which was an extensive range of pastries, pancakes, fruit, juices, tea/ coffee, cereals, and traditional fry up! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and thoroughly recommend.
Such a wonderful stay at Horsley Estate, gorgeous spacious bedroom and charming bars with refreshing cocktails and tasty food. The grounds were incredible, felt like a peaceful hidden gem - I’m sure it’s an incredible wedding venue!

My husband and I decided to stay there overnight while visiting friends, we booked rather late, but the price was reasonable and it also included breakfast, which was a nice addition :) the room was beautiful, bed comfy and the bathroom was properly cleaned. Very impressive. There was a good choice of food and everything tasted amazing. The service at the restaurant was really nice, especially Brooke and Agnieszka, who served us at dinner time. We met Nick who is one of the managers, he made a very good impression and was very pleasant and nice to talk to ;). Overall we are very happy with our experience. We will definitely be staying there next time we are in the area :)
My stay at Horsley Towers was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Brad, the duty manager, and Trudi, the restaurant manager. From the moment I arrived, their professionalism and attention to detail were evident. Brad’s seamless coordination ensured that every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations, while Trudi’s friendly manner made dining at the restaurant very welcoming. Together, they orchestrated a flawless experience, and their teamwork was truly commendable. I can’t wait to return to Horsley Towers and experience their exceptional hospitality once again.
