Championship Golf Courses, Golf Breaks & Holidays

A ROUND UNLIKE ANY OTHER

From that practice swing on the first, to the well-earned toast in the clubhouse afterwards; a round at De Vere Hotel is simply unique.

The golf courses are championship standard (many have hosted PGA golf tournaments). The backdrops will make your jaw drop. Whisper it, but the after-play's not bad either. Many of the luxury golf hotels have cracking clubhouses, spas, inviting hotel lounges and unexpected activities for all the lads and ladies. Whether you are looking for a long weekend hotel and golf holiday or simply a chance to play an exciting game of golf at some of the best UK golf courses, De Vere Hotels have got you covered.

It's all these things and more that makes a round of golf here that little bit special, just watch out for rabbits.

The Golf Courses

Twelve golf courses across seven hotels and locations in the UK; each one offering a unique round and a unique golf challenge. From PGA Golf Championship standard bearers to local greats, from the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond to the wild outcrops of Northumberland, breathtaking scenery is a given, as is a remarkable round of golf.

Woodlands, parklands, or water…what will it be?

The Carrick - Tournament Standard Golf Course in Loch Lomond, Scotland

Designed by acclaimed golf course designer Doug Carrick, this tournament standard golf course features the front nine in the Lowlands and the back nine in the Highlands of Scotland. Offering stunning views across the great loch, The Carrick has played host to the Ladies Scottish Open and the PGA Cup. Linked with Loch Lomond's Cameron House, so that you can enjoy a relaxing stay at a luxury hotel during your golf break.

Slaley Hall - Breath Taking Golf Courses in Northumberland, England

A true test for golfers of all abilities and a breathtaking snapshot of Northumberland at its very best, Slaley Hall showcases two of the finest and most picturesque courses in the North of England.  Post play why not retreat back to Slaley Hall's Claret Jug - the premier clubhouse or relax with a spa treatment at Slaley's premium spa. Find more information on golf breaks and holidays here.

Oulton Hall - Stunning Golf Courses in the Yorkshire Dales, England

Nestled amongst 400 acres of stunning Yorkshire parkland, the meandering fairways and perfect greens of the Calverley and Hall courses are a good test for golfers of all abilities. See the church spires rise from the fairways as you navigate up to 27 holes of sheer golfing pleasure.

Mottram Hall, Championship Golf Course in Cheshire

Set in 270 acres of stunning Cheshire parkland, this Championship golf course is a game of two halves. The front nine is set on lush flat meadowland, whereas the back nine weaves its way through undulating woodland. Designed by former PGA captain Dave Thomas, it boasts some of the most scenic golf that Cheshire has to offer. Find more information on this inspirational golf course and the range of golf holiday breaks here.

Carden Park - Golf Breaks in the Cheshire Countryside, England

At the foothill of the great Welsh hills and within 1000 acres of Cheshire countryside lie these two magnificently manicured courses. The Nicklaus, one of only four British golf courses design by the great Jack Nicklaus and son Steve, and The Cheshire, an equally challenging course for all golfing abilities.

Belton Woods - PGA Standard Golf Course in Lincolnshire, England

With three stunning golf courses to suit golfers of all levels, Belton Woods can only be described as ‘golf heaven’ making the hotel perfect for any golf break. This PGA approved venue hosts the par 3 Academy course for beginners
looking to fine-tune their game, the luscious, fairways of the Woodside golf course, and the tricky and testing Lakes golf course for those seeking a serious challenge.

Dunston Hall - 18 Hole Parkland Golf Course in Norfolk, England

Set in 150 acres of spectacular Norfolk countryside, this 18-hole Parkland golf course beautifully contours the Dunston estate, weaving through wooded parkland and undulating fairways.
