Room Hire Only WeddingsWe offer a room hire only option for weddings and other private functions, if you wish to use an outside caterer. We have our preferred Asian caterers but you are welcome to hire your own*. Our Empress Suite seats up to 500 guests for dinner with a dance floor, and stage. Room hire for 2012 is £8000 for a Saturday including VAT, and £7000 for a Sunday, to include the hire of the Empress Suite, kitchens, event manager for the day, tables, chairs, dance floor, stage and facility for a private bar. The Grand has 200 bedrooms, 70 of which are sea-view, and we can offer a special bed and breakfast rate for friends and family for the wedding night, plus the nights before and after if required. *Must meet our strict health and safety criteria
